Gather your friends, family and coworkers, and join us for The Northwest Ohio AIDS Walk 2010! 5k Walk, 5k untimed "Fun Run", 1 mile Stroll Saturday, August 28, 2010 International Park 2 Main Street Toledo, Ohio ARC Ohio is proud to dedicate the 2010 Northwest Ohio AIDS Walk in honor of Ann Wayson Locher (1951 – 2010) whose legacy will be remembered for her service as a clinical nurse specialist, tirelessly pursuing her passion: caring for those impacted by HIV. Ann opened the first grant-funded HIV testing clinic in Northwest Ohio in 1985, and coordinated the Ryan White Program at the University of Toledo Medical Center since it was first grant-funded in 2000. In the course of her decades-long career in Northwest Ohio, her pioneering HIV care was recognized with several awards.
